Honoring The Israeli Defense Forces Week: The Yom Kippur War

Ariel Sharon snatched victory from the jaws of defeat. The Yom Kippur War was a great shock to the people of Israel. Yes, A great victory was achieved by General Sharon's brilliant and courageous crossing of the Suez Canal, we honor him and his soldiers for their sacrifice. Included with General Sharon we honor his 143rd Armored Division, the 600th Armored Division, 14th Armor Brigade, 162nd Armored Division, 217th Armored Division. 460th Brigade, the 500th Armor Brigade and the brave paratroopers of the 35th Brigade led by Yitzhak Mordecai as well as all the brave soldiers who served in the Yom Kippur War.

Israel suffered 2,656 killed, 7,250 wounded

This video reminds us the price of freedom is always high and it will always be even higher if appeasement is used to placate evil. It seems today we have not learned the many lessons of the past. Even Ariel Sharon succumbed to the policy of appeasement in his surrender of Gaza to the Terrorists.
