Video: Former Iraqi PM Calls out Newt Gingrich
2Back in December, US Presidential candidate Newt Gingrich said the Palestinians were “an invented people.” In response, former Iraqi PM Ibrahim Al-Ja’fari told an Iranian audience that the United States has “no history” and that modern day Americans are not the true Americans.
Conversely, said Al-Ja’fari – the man whose country was liberated by modern day Americans – said Arabs and Muslims are the “pioneers of civilization.”

Turkey denies Funding Hamas
1What are the odds that Turkey is telling the truth here?
Via IPT:
Turkish officials are denying media reports that Hamas Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh was promised $300 million during his visit to Turkey earlier this month.
“There is no cash aid to Hamas, but Turkey is, of course, engaged in projects to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza,” a Turkish foreign ministry official told the Turkish paper Today’s Zaman, “A $40 million hospital project is one of them, but the construction material for the hospital is not allowed in Gaza.”
On Friday, Reuters quoted a diplomat in Syria saying that there has been a void in aid from Iran to Hamas since August, and Haniyeh was believed to have “‘received promises from Turkey to provide the movement and his administration with $300 million a year to help Gaza.’”
In December, the International Middle East Media Center (IMEMC) alleged that Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan agreed to provide $300 million to Hamas in a confidential letter Haniyeh.
Don’t worry. Turkey can be taken at its word.
IPT has more.
Progressive Islam: Muslim Brotherhood leader wants to implement Sharia law with Five-year no hand chopping clause
1This should make westerners warm up to Sharia law. Muslim Brotherhood leader Yusuf al-Qaradawi is so considerate!
Get this.
He wants to implement Islamic law in Egypt but not to worry. There will be no chopping of hands…. for five years.
Via MEMRI:
We should do things gradually. We should prepare the people, teach them. People have to learn. We have to make an effort to teach people the truth about Islam.
[…]
People do not understand the shari’a properly. We have to teach people the laws of the shari’a and explain them, before anything else. I think that in the first five years, there should be no chopping off of hands. This period should be dedicated to teaching things. A transitional phase… This should be a period in which we teach people the true laws of the shari’a. when we find food for all the hungry, schools for all the pupils, hospitals for all the sick, homes for all those who want them, wives for all the bachelors – then we can discuss the punishment for theft.
And the frog in the pot says, “Is it me or is it getting warmer in here?”
A Whiff of Sanity: Congressman fights against Funding his country’s own Destruction
1The United Nations Refugee and Works Agency (UNRWA) provides textbooks to educate Palestinian children. Since the United States has been responsible for the lions share of funding that goes to UNRWA, it would be logical to expect that these books would be pro-American.
Uh, not so much. Not only are they not pro-American but they are practically training manuals for learning how to hate America and Israel.
Rep. Chris Smith (R-NJ) is not taking this lying down.
Via CNSNews:
The textbooks used to educate Palestinian children who live in refugee camps came under fire at a briefing on Wednesday on Capitol Hill where experts said lessons of intolerance and hatred toward Jews and Israel fill the books’ pages.
Rep. Chris Smith (R-N.J.), chairman of the House subcommittee on Human Rights and co-chairman of the Bi-Partisan Coalition for Combating Anti-Semitism, told CNSNews.com that U.S. donations to the United Nations Refugee and Works Agency (UNRWA) make the federal government accountable for what is in the books.
“We are responsible for the content and the content has been, year in and year out, explosively anti-Semitic, anti-American and anti-Israeli,” Smith said, at the event he hosted with the Center for Near-East Policy Research, which is based in Jerusalem and which has studied the topic extensively.
Since the UNRWA began operations in 1950 in the wake of the Arab-Israeli war of 1948, the United States has been the largest contributor to the agency. The UNRWA oversees the health, education, and social services of some 5 million registered Palestinian refugees, including those in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.
There is something fundamentally insane about any entity – in this case, western civilization – indoctrinating the youth to exterminate it.
