Shocker: Hamas Leader seeks higher post with Muslim Brotherhood
0Those of us who have been shouting from the rooftops that Hamas is simply an arm of the Muslim Brotherhood continue to be proven correct. Here is another in a long line of examples that should motivate people in positions of power to admit the truth and confront it. Hamas’ man in Syria – Khaled Meshaal – appears to be leaving his post for greener pastures.
Via IPT:
Hamas’ out-going politburo chairman is leaving the Palestinian terrorist group to take a “high position in the Muslim Brotherhood movement,” a “well-informed source in Hamas” told the Nazareth-based Arabic-language Al-Sinnara last week.
The move would see Khaled Meshaal—the longtime Damascus-based leader of Hamas—transition to a new, more international role, as head of the “Supreme Council of the [Brotherhood] movement.” The Council is said to be “responsible for political issues,” according to the report. It remains to be seen whether the article is referring to the group’s Guidance Bureau, which largely deals with the movement’s political affairs, or with another body altogether.
If true, the news would help explain why Meshaal has been so adamant about not seeking re-election. Earlier reports noted that the group made an official plea for Meshaal “to reconsider” his stance.
Who is on the short list for replacing Meshaal? Well, none other than Mousa Abu Marzook, the same guy whose manifesto appeared in the church newsletter of then Trinity United Church of Christ pastor, Jeremiah Wright.
It has been speculated that if Meshaal exits, the post could go to Hamas’ Gaza-based Prime Minister, Ismail Haniyeh, or Hamas’ original political bureau chief, Mousa Abu Marzook.
Hamas has been in a state of flux in recent months, and unrest in Syria could force the group to find a new home base for its political leadership.
Meshaal’s purported move appears to have the blessing of higher-ups in the Brotherhood. According to the Al-Sinnara source, longtime Brotherhood spiritual advisor, Yusuf al-Qaradawi, is in support of the leadership jump.
Qaradawi is the face of Muslim Brotherhood leadership.
Muslim ex-Marine Guilty of Shooting at Pentagon in name of Islam; Media avoids truth… again
1A Muslim and ex-Marine named Yonathan Melaku has been convicted to 25 years after pleading guilty to firing shots at the Pentagon, the Marine Corps museum, and other military targets. In large part, what did him in, was the fact that he filmed himself on the night he drove around he Wasington, DC area. The video showed him shouting “Allah-hu-Akbar” as he was shooting at the museum.
Yet, in the ABC News / AP story that reported on Melaku’s plea, there was not one use of the word, “Islam” or “Muslim” in the story while using the word “Jihad” once (in quotes). They couldn’t even bring themselves to print how “God is Great” sounds in Arabic, just that it was said in Arabic.
Prosecutors also released a video, made by Melaku, that was part of the evidence in the case, in which Melaku is seen firing shots at the National Museum of the Marine Corps as he drives by from I-95, where the museum is easily visible. In the video, Melaku shouts “God is Great!” in Arabic and talks about targeting the museum and “turning it off permanently.”
The best part? Melaku’s defense attorney takes advantage of the apparent unwillingness of people to speak the truth.
The defense lawyer, Gregory English, said he has no doubt that his client is legally sane, but said a proper mental-health diagnosis may help his client become a better person while he serves his sentence.
English, himself a former Marine, said after the hearing that his personal experience suggests it’s possible that some sort of post-traumatic stress or dispute with the Marines may have triggered Melaku’s actions rather than any desire to support al-Qaida or the Taliban.
Jihadists don’t typically respond to mental-health prescriptions all that well.
Westerners are one step closer to coming face to face with their own absurdity. Living in denial definitely has a finite lifespan and the media is twisting itself into pretzels trying to extend it.
In the words of Blaise Pascal:
We run heedlessly into the abyss after putting something in front of us to stop us seeing it.
Looking ridiculous is apparently still preferred over being honest.

Video Flashback: BBC Employee fired for requesting Caucasian cab driver for Daughter
1This is from a few years ago but in light of events that have transpired since, it warrants another look through the lens of hindsight. A woman named Sam Mason, who worked as a radio personality for the BBC, called a cab company and requested a caucasian cab driver, preferably a female. The representative for the cab company essentially accused Mason of being a racist, though Mason didn’t help her cause by prefacing her request by conceding that her request would sound “racist.”
Nonetheless, when those in the West who shake their heads in disgust at blatant media bias, this provides a look behind the curtain.
Mason was smeared as a racist and fired by the BBC for requesting a certain type of person transport her young teenage daughter. Conversely, demands made by Muslims are far too often met with acquiescence. Until westerners stand up, this will continue to gradually get worse. As it does, it will be more difficult to reverse.
