Rahm Emanuel appoints Colleague of Radical Imam to Advisory Committee

Though some may be rightfully outraged by Chicago Mayor and former White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel’s appointment of CAIR Chicago’s Executive Director – Ahmed Rehab – to one of his Advisory Committees, Rehab’s affiliations should be of great concern as well.

Consider that on August 6, 2008 Rehab appeared on the O’Reilly Factor to discuss the resignation of Mazen Asbahi as Barack Obama’s National Coordinator for Muslim American Affairs. During that interview, Rehab claimed to know, vouch for, and praise Imam Jamal Said as “a great American faith leader.”

When Walid was a member of the Muslim Brotherhood in Chicago, Said was his terror recruiter / trainer. Imam Said is not only the faith leader of the radical Bridgeview mosque in Chicago – which has defended convicted terrorist Sami al-Arian and has raised money to honor Palestinian suicide bombers – but his mentor was Abdullah Azzam, the founder of Al-Qaeda.

Here is the exchange between Rehab and O’Reilly back in 2008:

Here is a group photo with Jamal Said on the far left and Ahmed Rehab on the far right.
